According to the “Global TV Design and Features Tracker” report of OMDIA, one of the leading research and consultancy companies in the global market in the field of technology, TCL took the top spot among the Android OS Smart TV brands in 2021 with a market share of 20.7 percent.
According to the information in the report, a total of 189 million smart TVs were put on the market in 2021, and 73.2 million of these devices were Android-based smart TVs. Having shipped 15.1 million smart TVs with Andorid operating system last year, TCL achieved an important global success by ranking first in this field. According to the report, TCL also maintained its position as the 2nd largest brand in the global LCD TV market with 24.6 million LCD TV shipments in 2021.
