Sony introduced the Xperia 10 IV smartphone. So, what does the fourth generation of the Xperia 10 series offer? Here are the Sony Xperia 10 IV features.
Sony Xperia 10 IV Features
Xperia 10 IV features a 6-inch OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio FHD+ resolution. Sony uses a brighter Triluminous panel, which it claims is 50 percent brighter than its predecessor. The refresh rate is still 60Hz. It should also be noted that the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus.
Sony has reduced the weight of the phone while making it slightly shorter at 154mm and slightly narrower at 67mm. The company claims that with a weight of 161 grams, the device is the lightest 5G phone with a 5,000mAh battery. By the way, please note that there is no charger in the box. Charging speeds are still 30W.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and has only 6GB of RAM. On the storage side, the only option is 128 GB.
The camera setup is the same as last year’s model, with a 12MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide and 8MP 2x telephoto cameras. The main camera now has optical image stabilization (OIS). Sony has also added a host of new features for its front 8MP selfie camera, including fine-tuned Superior Auto Mode, Auto HDR, a special Night Mode, and AI-based face sharpening. Unfortunately, 4K video recording is not available.
The device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, LDAC support, 360 Audio and 360 Reality Audio Upmix that can convert stereo to surround sound.
Finally, let’s mention that the smartphone has an IP68 rating and will come out of the box with Android 12.
