Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG where you, a sleeper, must survive in the difficult environment of The Eye, a lawless space station. Sleeper is human consciousness inside an artificial body, used by corporations for hard labor. Citizen Sleeper adopts old school table top mechanics, like using dice to determine the quality of your actions. While Citizen Sleeper is about creating a new life for yourself and discovering the people of The Eye, it’s also about survival. To survive in Citizen Sleeper you have to maintain several meters, one of which is the energy bar. There are a few ways to refill the energy bar, but the main one is to eat. Here’s how to find and eat food at Citizen Sleeper.

In the beginning you won’t have any cryo in Citizen Sleeper, which is the currency on The Eye. You will be offered the job by Dragos, the man who found you and runs a scrapyard. There are a few options for making money, but you’ll want to choose one that benefits from your starting class to increase your chances of being successful. After earning a handful of cash, make your way to the market, which is located just north of the junkyard. When you first hit the market you have to use the action die to get more information about the area. Once you have successfully done so, the Amphis Food Stall will be available to you.
After an introductory dialogue where you get your first taste for free, you can buy more Amphis Fungus for 15 cryo. This usually restores the 3rd section of the energy bar, so try not to buy food too quickly. As you advance in Citizen Sleeper, you’ll unlock more areas to buy food, but the Amphis stall is the first place you can do this.
