Immediately after the announcement of the RTX 4000, NVIDIA released its new driver, version 515.76, for the Linux operating system. Another update of the R515 Linux driver series, 515.76, does not see any notable innovations.
The NVIDIA 515.76 driver offers support for the Linux 6.0 kernel, albeit unofficially. The stable Linux 6.0 kernel has not been released yet. However, it should be noted that the new driver will work compatible with Linux 6.0, although it is not officially stated.

- For RTX 2000 (Turing) and later: fixed an issue that caused the GPU to draw excessive power on the X11 or Wayland desktop when using high resolutions or refresh rates.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Xorg server to crash when an NvFBC capture session was started while the video memory was full.
