GitHub has lifted its code structure and network information ban on Tornado Cash (TORN), which has been blacklisted by the US.
The blacklisting of Tornado Cash by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control last month was on the agenda. Stating that cybercriminals use TORN as a money laundering method, the Office did not hesitate to impose heavy sanctions.

He announced that he will publish the documents belonging to Tornado Cash and make them active in the communities. However, the platform did not give TORN full authority. He stated that the data that will only be read-only cannot be changed in any way.
Therefore, users will be able to open and read the codes on the platform, but will not be able to make any changes. It will be available in read-only form to enable communities to chat, discuss, exchange content and ideas.
